Privacy Policy

It is our policy to keep your personal and business matters confidential to the maximum extent.

As a firm that employs CPAs and provides CPA services, we are bound by Wisconsin state law to keep 100% of our clients' information private. We cannot legally share any of your information with any outside party without your written permission. We do not share client data, even anonymously, with any marketers or promoters. We will never sell your information.

You should also be aware that anything you tell us during the interview for the preparation of your tax return is confidential, but not protected from the IRS. Privileged communications (those that are protected from IRS authority to compel our testimony) are limited to non-criminal tax advice on matters before the IRS or non-criminal tax proceedings in federal courts. Although we consider any information you provide us as confidential, return preparation engagements are not covered by advisor-client privilege.

Further, we have implemented many procedural safeguards to protect your personal information as well. Our offices operate in a secured facility with restricted access to client data, which is paperless.

All paper documents are returned to the client or are destroyed by shredding. Our data is stored in high security locations with redundant geographical backups. We will not electronically transmit any documents containing social security numbers, account numbers, or personal financial information through any means other than our secure encrypted client portal on our website. Finally, we have very low employee turnover (most of our employees have been with us more than ten years) which means the same people will handle your data year after year.

We are always seeking new methods of protecting our clients' interests - including their privacy.
